Beach Camp and River Camp
Beach Camp
Beach Camp is a long standing tradition in Round Bay and a wonderful time for all children and families in our neighborhood to connect and enjoy the slower days of summer on our community’s beachfront.  Camp will run every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from July 2nd-July 27, and is held from 10am-12pm at Main Beach.   This year we are hoping to plan a variety of engaging activities, which appeal to a wide range of ages and different interests.  Parent volunteers and community members plan and execute our fun filled mornings, so please plan to pick a day to join in.  There is always a way you can lend a hand.
Hey Campers!
Here is a calendar with all Beach and River Camp activities thus far! Please refer to this calendar for information about what is going on each day and who is volunteering to lead activities and provide snack.

There are still many spots open for Beach Camp volunteers, River Camp volunteers, and Snack volunteers! Use our Camp SIGN UP GENIUS to grab a spot.

I will keep the calendar updated with any new information and send CAMP UPDATES AND REMINDERS to our entire camp community as our summer gets started.

River Camp
This year, as an extension of Beach Camp, River Camp will be offered to children in incoming 5th-8th grades. River Camp will take place the same days and time as Beach Camp. Some of the activities we have lined up for River Camp this year include:
Fishing Day
Build a cardboard boat and Race them
Water balloon fights complete with forts constructed by the kids
Bike/Hike to FroYo
Plan and participate in a Round Bay Biathalon
Capture the Flag
Ball Day on the Tennis Courts
Help a Neighbor Day
Plan and guide the first ever Round Bay Ghost Tour
...and so much more!
We are so excited to offer experiences geared to our middle grade kids! Like Beach Camp, this cannot happen without the support and time of parents. Please plan on spending at least one or two days at River Camp this summer- its going to be a blast!
