River Camp Counselors
Ages: Entering 5th Grade - Entering 8th Grade We are looking for River Camp COUNSELORS this year to assist parent volunteers in operating camp activities for younger campers. There is no registration fee for River Camp Counselors and we will provide all counselors with a RB CAMP COUNSELOR Tshirt!
*A separate, weekly River Camp activity will also be operating throughout the month of July. Coordinations will be arranged outside of this Registration Form.
In addition to our camp activities, we will be hosting a special EVENING ACTIVITY every Thursday evening throughout the month of July!

JOHN FISHBACK’S NATURE ADVENTURE CAMP
at Round Bay's Main, July 17-24, 2023
Children will enjoy a fun week in nature through a variety of activities. Native American & nature crafts, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, crabbing, archery , outdoor games, awareness exercises, survival skills, Native American, naturalist and adventure minded perspectives. Children will enjoy learningand playing through a multidimensional approach which utilizes native crafts, survival skills, awareness exercises, wild plants, outdoor games/activities and nature observation. Every daychildren will return home with many unique treasures and memories. Campers enjoy the amenities of Round Bay beach, pavilion and playground where they can play games, canoe,kayak, fish, crab and swim in the Severn River. Campers will travel midweek via bus to . John has directed his camps for 28years and is an AA county Fire fighter.
John’s mission statement: My philosophy is based on a love forthe natural world, which has consumed my life for as long as I remember. I believe that my role is as a caretaker for the planetand wish to encourage in others a profound connection to the earth. Most importantly, I want to create a positive experience for children and adults in an outdoor setting.

Fee is $425 -second child %10 discount, third child 20% discount, Parent volunteers $60/day refund
